Here I have answered a series of questions to give my readers a little more insight on myself, what I like most and what I dislike the most, and my views on specific topics. This is my first blog post for my English Composition class. Please enjoy the Proust Questionnaire.
In this post I will provide answers to The Proust Questionnaire __1.__What is your idea of perfect happiness? My idea of happiness is when I have absolutely nothing to do on the weekends and can just relax. Another is lounging on the beach, feeling the sun on my face and hanging out with my family. __2.__What is your greatest fear? Spiders, I will be the first one out of the room and I will not step foot back in until I know it's dead or put outside, obviously my go to is killing the creature. __3.__What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? The trait I most deplore in myself is I tend to go to the worst-case scenario before getting all the details. I truly am a positive person but I most definitely get myself worked up and "jump to conclusions" __4.__What is the trait you most deplore in others? Unreasonable. The type of people that think the world revolves around them and their schedule. They can't ever make time for other people because they believe their time is too precious to be tampered with. __5.__Which living person do you most admire? Besides my mother, the person I admire the most is my little sister. She knew from the age 11 or 12, she wanted to join the military. Junior year of high school, the day after she turned 17, she signed to join the United States Air Force and prematurely swore in a few months later. She's been in the USAF since August and will be going to Nebraska in February. My sister is my inspiration to give it all I've got until I've achieved every goal I have and am perfectly satisfied with my accomplishments. She was one of my many big supporters when I made the decision to go to college. I don’t know where I would be without her today. __6.__What is your greatest extravagance? I didn't travel much as a child and took my first plane ride to San Antonio, Texas back in September to see my sister graduate basic training with the Air Force. Not seeing my sister for what felt like a life time, the emotions my family was feeling that day were overwhelming. Seeing her get honor grad with forty of her flight sisters and brothers out of 700. Experiencing the river walk, strolling around town, eating at one of the best steak restaurants in San Antonio, and seeing my sister I think it's safe to say that was my greatest extravagance. __7.__What is your current state of mind? My current state of mind is eager and scared to start my journey to becoming a Special Education teacher. This is something I've always wanted to do and the fact I'm actually taking action to pursue it is still a day dream to me. __8.__What do you consider the most overrated virtue? I'm not sure. __9.__On what occasion do you lie? To keep myself out of trouble. If I hear something that I probably shouldn’t have and it involves people I barely know, I'm not going to stick my nose where it shouldn't be. __10.__What do you most dislike about your appearance? My snaggle tooth.... __11.__Which living person do you most despise? Cersei Lannister (I'm aware she's a character, I still despise her.) __12.__What is the quality you most like in a man? A sense of humor!!!! __13.__What is the quality you most like in a woman? Self-Respect. I see too often a lot of "women" my age are thinking they aren't worth any more than the penny on the floor and it drives me crazy. Rock your ish girl!! Work it!! Own it!! Love yourself!! __14.__Which words or phrases do you most overuse? The words I use the most are: like, literally, and legit The phrase I find myself using a lot is: "We're one day closer to Friday!" __15.__What or who is the greatest love of your life? I LOVE Mac & Cheese!!! My go-to whenever I go to WaWa. __16.__When and where were you happiest? San Antonio, Texas back in September. __17.__Which talent would you most like to have? I've never really thought about it before to be honest. __18.__If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? __19.__What do you consider your greatest achievement? My greatest achievement (so far) would be going to college. I went to a trade school for Cosmetology and worked as an assistant for three and a half years. It took me almost a year and a half to really figure out if I wanted too or not because I would be starting from scratch and that scared me a little bit but I am so happy that chose too, I've never been happier with a decision I've made. __20.__If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? A cat, I want to know what goes through their little devil minds when they stare at their "humans". They also have the good life. __21.__Where would you most like to live? On a beach in Jamaica. __22.__What is your most treasured possession? My Nana's necklace. She passed away two years ago and she was also my God-Mother so I inherited a good sum of her jewelry. __23.__What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? The lowest depth of misery is having someone so dear to you pass away. That feeling is the worst feeling an individual could feel in my opinion, there is nothing worse than feeling like you have a hole in your heart. __24.__What is your favorite occupation? I always found the Law Enforcement to be very interesting but my favorite is becoming an elementary special education teacher. __25.__What is your most marked characteristic? __26.__What do you most value in your friends? "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think" -Winnie the Pooh This is something my mom used to say to me when I was younger and it forever stuck with me, I use this quote on my friends, sister and my SpecEd kids when they don’t feel to confident in themselves at that moment.
